Start a Team
A simple path for bringing Odyssey of the Mind to your students.
Starting is simpler than it looks.
Odyssey teams can be formed through schools, community organizations and other eligible programs. The important first step is bringing together interested students and an adult who can coach the process.
- Find interested students. Bring together a team ready to create and collaborate.
- Secure a membership. The membership connects your school or organization to the current Odyssey season.
- Choose a coach. Coaches facilitate, organize and ask questions without providing the team’s solution.
- Choose a problem. Read the current Long-Term Problems and let the students decide what excites them.
- Start creating. Use the Resource Library, training and Spontaneous Studio throughout the season.
